An Honest Note Before You Keep Reading
AI search is changing how websites get found. Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT browsing, and Claude's browse tool are increasingly how buyers reach you, and most of them read static HTML faster and more reliably than JavaScript-heavy pages. That's a real shift, and we're not going to pretend we know exactly where it lands.

WP plus WooCommerce is still the most flexible, best-supported open e-commerce platform we build on, and we build most e-commerce projects on it unless a client has a specific reason to prefer Shopify.
Membership sites and gated content
The WP plugin ecosystem handles this natively and well.
Forums and community features
bbPress, BuddyPress, and paid alternatives make this a solved problem on WP.
Complex booking and scheduling
Plugins like Bookly, Amelia, and their peers are genuinely good and save months of custom build work.
Back-end workflows with custom user roles
WP's user and role system is mature and well-understood. Extending it is cheap.
A battle-tested plugin already exists
Sometimes the best decision is to buy something battle-tested for $99 instead of building from scratch.
A true in-browser editor with full layout freedom
Some teams genuinely need a live, in-browser content editor with full layout freedom. If that's you, WordPress delivers it and nobody else quite does, though we'll caveat this one below.

Forged Sites Shatter Google PageSpeed Scores
Forged Sites load nearly instantly between pages, fundamentally faster than any WordPress build we can deliver. The rendering stack is cleaner, the payload is smaller, and Google PageSpeed reflects that delta. If raw speed and AI-crawler readability are your priorities, Forged wins, and it isn't close.
The tradeoff: Forged Sites don't ship with a full live editor. You edit content through DraftDash's clean UI and direct MOG (our AI Director) for structural changes. For most clients, that's actually the better workflow.
Our bet on the future: AI agents editing websites directly. Live page builders become optional for most small-to-mid business clients, because conversation-driven editing is faster and less error-prone than drag-and-drop. Larger enterprises may still prefer hands-on, live-editor control for complex teams, which is where WordPress still earns its place.
