An Honest Note About Wix in 2026
We still design and build Wix sites for clients who have specifically chosen Wix as their platform, and we maintain our Wix pricing pages as a capability signal to that audience. We also want to be direct about the trade-offs of choosing Wix in 2026.

Our AI product suite cannot reach inside Wix's sandbox.
Wix is a closed hosted platform, which means DraftDash publishing, Catori SEO audits, Vigil compliance pipeline, MOG operations, Thea content strategy, and Ethel voice integration, none of the IFS AI family can plug into your Wix site the way they plug into our Forged Sites or WordPress builds. You're choosing a platform that's outside our AI stack by design.

The platform is pivoting to AI faster than we can retrain on.
Wix (like Shopify and Squarespace) is actively reshaping its editor and feature set to incorporate their own AI tools. We've chosen to invest our team's deep expertise in our own stack rather than chase Wix's platform evolution. When we work on a Wix site, we calibrate to its current state, we don't claim ongoing mastery of a moving target.

Platform lock-in is real.
Wix doesn't let you export your site to another platform in a way that's practically portable. What you build on Wix stays on Wix unless you rebuild from scratch elsewhere.

Compliance is their story, not ours.
If and when Wix adds ADA/WCAG compliance tooling to their platform, it will be at their pricing, on their roadmap, for their set of features. Our Vigil compliance pipeline does not extend into Wix.

Wix's developer marketplace is effectively closed to their own partner network, so we can't ship an official Wix App, but we can often approximate plugin-like functionality with custom code. This takes longer than equivalent WordPress work, which we'll estimate up front.

All packages require a half down deposit and half due before the launch of the website. Hosting fees for the sites will also be required at the start of the project at the hosting level only. Should you opt out of utilizing our SEO plan or any of our higher tier offerings, please note that we will only install an SEO tool and will not conduct any further Search Engine Optimization.
