Design Process


The most important part of the web design process is communication, as is illustrated below. The ONLY reason a website's production will suffer is due to the client not keeping in contact with us about changes and additions that are necessary. From consultation to the uploading/launch of the website, communication is the key. That is why we make it easy, giving the opportunity of face to face meetings that are easy for our client(s) schedule. Consultation is a simple meeting to weed out what you, the client, want and do not want included in your website. From the basics, such as, color all the way to the layout of your website from top to bottom. A meeting to essentially get a feel for what you are shooting for, aesthetically as well as the website's practical use. During the consultation you will decide whether to move forward with the website, at this juncture, a deposit will be required to ensure customer commitment. This is the beginning of you getting to add input for the first time that makes a substantial difference in where the website begins to head. After the consultation, research on our end is the key. We will ensure the information included in your site is accurate and up to date. We basically brainstorm all options for your site and lay them out into potentials versus those which we will not include in the site. The design of the home page is the second most important part of the design process. Here we will take all the ideas we have come up with, mixed with your initial information from the consultation, and incorporate them into the Home Page design. This is where you, the client, get to see the process unfold for your website. This leads us to client revisions; after viewing our work we show you our work either by remote server URL address or in a face to face meeting, however you prefer. This allows for your input into what you do and do not like about the site's progression. It is instrumental in the design process and usually a great and exciting opportunity for you, the client, to be a part of the overall process. Final revisions come in the insertion of the website copy, another opportunity to clean up any errors whether graphical or text related. During this period, both you and we analyze the site and make the appropriate changes needed in order to near the site's launch. This part of the process could be called a final revision. The final process is simple, we test the server, and process all changes needed to be made. Once all changes have been made, and you are completely satisfied with the site we upload it to the World Wide Web. At this point you now have an up and running website available to anyone for viewing.
